Hi gang!
Great night out at this week’s Cleveland Music Club – CMC Jam at Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe. Lots of cool people and lots of cool tunes. On top of that Erika got not only her ‘Sixteen Winters’ CD (thanks Harp!) but also her ‘Darker Shade of Blue’ CD (thanks Rob!) She’s a happy girl! Thank you to everyone who came out to jam, or listen, or just get silly with us including Hayden Frosti, Bob Laeng, John Kerver, Greg Kern, Rob Hayes, Joan Skelley-Watts, Jmy T, Pam Coone, “High Class Criminals” (Brandon, Dane, Bob, Mike, Shaun), Bob DeVries, John Yonkey, Lisa, Vern, Janette, MaryBeth, the Dancing Marilyns and the rest of the ‘Frog Faithful.’ A big thanks, also to this week’s guest hosts, GS “Mr. Job Security” Harper and Tim Hamman for classin’ up the joint. Thursday’s CMC show at Horseshoe Casino’s Vintage 51 Bar was a really great time! Thanks to Katie and Cameron and Jen behind the bar for their hard work! :c)
Saturday at 42 Eighty was a pretty slow evening, but it was great to see Karen, Jess, Janet, Bob, Amanda, Jim and George! Fun times! :c)
The highlight of the week was definitely Sunday’s Shady Drive CD Release Party. The Brothers Lounge Music Hall was packed with fans, friends and family who came out to support us and get a copy of our new CD. Many thanks to Erika, Amanda, Mark, Colleen, Jimmy, Chris, Daryl, Don and his lovely niece, John, Pam, Lisa, Mary, Jon, Brian, Katy, Joy, Bob, Laura, Gary, Sandy, Ken, Martha, Ro, Ken, Tony K., Diane, Gordy, Pat, Wally, Cathy, Katyana, Lisa, Ron, Curt, Greg, Tom, Janette, George, Dave and anyone I missed in the chaos for coming out and showing your support Thanks also to Chris Hanna and The North Coast Horns for a great performance, The Brighter Side Band for a stellar opening set, Brett Young and Eric who did an amazing job on the boards, Jessica and Karen for manning the CD/merch table, Michelle, Stephanie and Michelle behind the bar and of course Chris, Roger and Gidget for opening their venue to us. It was EPIC! :c)
