Hi gang!

What a rockin’ week! Attending this week’s CMC Jam were Dan Elliott, Andrew, Dan Pfeiffer, Paul Lewis, Ernie Arroyo, John Kerver, (thanks for the loaner amps!), Bob Laeng, Hayden Frosti, David Poirier, Rob Hayes and Rick Lowe. Thanks to everyone who came out to listen and dance including: Nancy, Joy, the Dancing Marilyns, and the rest of the ‘Frog Faithful’. Finally big thanks to our sponsors this week Dirty Town Guitar and Amps and Guitar Center N. Olmsted and to the management and staff of Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe .

On Friday night, Shady Drive joined up with Chris Hanna on keys and the North Coast Horns at Fairview Park Summerfest. It was an extremely fun night! Thanks to Sandy, Ken, Lisa, Katyana, Mary, Katy, Jon, Brian, Chris, Daryl, Pam, Al, Denny, Karen and Vern for coming out to party with us!

On Saturday Shady Drive appeared at the Brooklyn Rec Center from 6-8pm for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life event. We had a lot of fun in spite of the heat. Many thanks to Cayla, Joelle and Dawn for having us, to Gerald and Tricia for stopping by and to Mike and Tim for an amazing job on the sound board!

After the Relay For Life show, we packed up and headed to Aces Grille – N. Ridgeville for our show at 10pm. Thanks to the whole Aces gang for coming out and to Mr. and Mrs. Estes for stopping by. Also big props to Kel for an awesome job on the boards and to Tim Hamman who turned in a stellar performance on bass and backing vocals filling in for Kevin.

On Sunday, we appeared at Lake Erie Harley-Davidson for the 6th Annual Cops Ride. What a blast! Thanks to Mike Stevens for having us out and to Tom for making sure we had everything we needed. Also huge props to Paul Lewis who filled in on bass and backing vocals and did an outstanding job!

The Cleveland Music Club – CMC Jam happens every Tuesday at Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe (33137 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, 8:30 – 12:30) This week’s guest hosts are GS Harper and Tim Hamman! Our sponsor each week is Dirty Town Guitar and Amps. Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, Sonor drums and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancin’ shoes and come join the fun!

This Thursday night, Cleveland Music Club is back at the Horseshoe Casino’s Vintage 51 as GS Harper, Chris Hanna and I play all of your favorite tunes from 7pm – 10pm. Come join us!

This Saturday night, Shady Drive returns to 42 Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy., Brunswick, 9:30pm – 1:30am) to rock the house with your favorite blues and rock tunes. This being the eve of our CD release, we might just bust out a few tunes off the CD! C’mon out and let’s party!

It’s finally here! This Sunday July 6th, Shady Drive, Chris Hanna and the North Coast Horns will hit the stage at Brothers Lounge (11609 Detroit Ave., Cleveland) to celebrate the release of our new CD, “Darker Shade of Blue”. The doors open at 5pm, The Brighter Side Band kicks things off at 6pm and Shady Drive takes the stage at 7:30pm. Cover is $5 and CDs will be available! It’s gonna be a BLAST so don’t miss it!
