Mike Starcher is originally from Lakewood, Ohio and began playing the drums at age nine. He has played with local Cleveland bands “Fixture”, “Past Due”, “Beebles Blues Band”, “Threshold”, “The Remainders”, “The Swingtown Rebels” and “Tore Down House”. Mike is now in the drum chair with the blues/rock band “Shady Drive” who are currently recording their first album. He also gigs with a side project, “Cleveland Music Club” as well as filling in with “Brothers Blues Band”.

Over the course of Mike’s career, he has appeared on WERE radio’s Jay Turner Show and with Cleveland radio personality Uncle Vic. He’s shared the stage with artists such as the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Elvin Bishop, John Lee Hooker Jr., Billy Sullivan (The Raspberries, Gary Lewis and the Playboys, Herman’s Hermits), Mary Bridget Davies, Kristine Jackson, Buckwheat Zydeco and The Buckinghams.

Mike, his wife Erika and their two boxers reside in Columbia Station, Ohio, just southwest of Cleveland.
