Great gigs last week at Hard Rock Rocksino and Rustic Hills Country Club! Many thanks to everyone who came out including Effie & Don! Many thanks also to the staff at Rustic Hills, who have already booked us for their event next year!

Here’s what’s coming up this week…

Monday: I host the Cleveland Music Club Open Mic at The Oriole Cafe’ (294 N. Rocky Dr., Berea, 7-10pm)! This week, Tim Hamman joins me as guest host! We’ll provide the PA and a short host set, the rest is up to you! Come join us and show off your acoustic/vocal chops or just hang out and enjoy the music, great food and frosty cold drinks!

Friday: Slim ‘N Shady returns to Blue Turtle Tavern (29352 Lorain Rd., N. Olmsted, 6-9pm). C’mon out and help us rock the house while we play your favorite classic rock and blues tunes! You can even sing along! It’s that kinda party!

Saturday: Slim ‘N Shady travels back to Cleats – Marblehead (6801 E. Harbor Rd., Marblehead, 7:30-10:30pm)! Cleats has great service, an awesome menu and a huge bar! Come join us at this popular island setting and let’s party!

Tuesday: Hosting GRock Jam at Bullfrog’s (33137 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, 8:30pm-12:30am)! I’ll join Jason Denney of Hard Drive Band and G Rock on bass, so come out, get your country on and then get up there and jam!!

Friday: Shady Drive returns to the Hard Rock Rocksino (10777 Northfield Rd, Northfield, 10pm) this Friday night! C’mon out and join us while we play your favorite blues and classic rock tunes!

Saturday: Shady Drive travels to Rustic Hills Country Club (5399 River Styx Rd., Medina, 6-9pm) for Grapes on the Greens! Tickets are $35 for members, $40 for non-members and include golf, cart, and beer, wine and food samples on holes 1,2 3 and 9. Or, you can just come and enjoy the music for $10! This should be a really great time! Come join us!

Friday: Slim ‘N Shady heads back to Sapori Italian Grille (33481 Lake Rd., Avon Lake, 7-10pm). The food, service and atmosphere are second to none. Sapori also features a full bar and great wine selection. Come hang out with us for an evening and enjoy dinner and drinks while we play your favorite classic rock, blues and country tunes! RESERVATIONS ARE PREFERRED AND STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! When you call for reservations (440-933-4360), be sure to ask them to seat you in the band area.

Saturday: Shady Drive travels to Roundup Lake Campground (3392 Route 82, Mantua, 8-11pm). The inimitable Mr. Brian Davidson will be filling in for Blake! It was quite a party our last time there, so c’mon out and join in the fun!

Sunday: Shady Drive with the North Coast Horns will appear at Halloran Park (3550 W. 117th St., Cleveland, 6pm)! This is a great family friendly outdoor setting for a Sunday evening show. Come join us as we play your favorite Blues Brothers, Chicago, SRV, Van Morrison, Funk, Soul & Dance tunes from 6-8pm. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and your dancing shoes!
