Another fun-filled week started with the Cleveland Music Club Jam at Doc and Louie’s. Thanks to G.S. Harper and Kevin Fancher for guest hosting, to Katyana Speckman, Jay Smith, Ronald Bill, Blake Kniola, Nate Thomas Mysza, Bob Laeng, Hayden Frosti, William Kiehn, John Kerver, Vic, Drew Doman, Wally Marflak, Charlene, John Powell, Greg Kern, Dan Elliott, Don Lydon and Carl DeScott for stopping by to jam with us, to Guitar Center of North Olmsted for sponsoring, to Lisa, Ron, Vern, Cathy, Phil, JoAnne, Sherry, Steven, Amanda, Jason, Mary Beth, Carol, John B., the Dancing Marilyns and the rest of Doc’s music loving patrons for hanging out with us, to Tracy for working hard behind the bar and to Doc for supplying the bar! :c) Also, congrats to prize winners John Powell, Charlene, Blake Kniola, Ronny Bill, William Kiehn, and Greg Kern. It was a fun night as always. :c)
Next, G.S., Kevin and I were off to the Fairview Tavern for our monthly Cleveland Music Club appearance. We had a great time! Thanks to everyone who stopped out to party with us. :c)
On Friday, the three of us along with Dirk Garman and Chris Hanna scooted back to Doc and Louie’s to take the stage for a Cactus Jack show. Many thanks to Charlie, Pat, Dick, Andi, Gene, Shelly, John, Julia, Nate, Chris, Daryl, Scott, Jim, Pam and everyone else who came out! Sure was fun! :c)
I took Saturday off to head down to the House of Blues to catch Wish You Were Here. If you haven’t seen them, you’re missing a very special experience. They always put on a great show! For more info check out www.floydtribute.com
Coming up this week, we’ll start things off with the Cleveland Music Club Jam at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm) featuring guest hosts “Furious” George Hartwig and Gary “G Rock” Stulak. Our sponsor this week is Sonor Drums. Doc’s delicious 1/2 pound burgers (w/fries) are just $4.95 and margaritas are $3 until 9pm. Plenty of parking in Doc’s front and back lots, O’Reilly’s back lot and also their front lot after they close at 9pm. Come get your jam on with us!
On Friday, Shady Drive cranks out your favorite blues and rock tunes at 42Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy, Brunswick) The show starts at 9:30, but come out early and grab a bite to eat (the food is awesome) and get a good seat. Bring your party attitude and join us!
This Saturday Shady Drive will make our debut appearance at the Grayton Road Tavern (4760 Grayton Rd., Cleveland)! The food is delicious, the drinks are amazing and Miss Brandy will be behind the bar keeping your glass full! Add your favorite blues and rock tunes performed by Shady Drive and it’s PARTY TIME!! Come out and help us rock the house!
