Last Tuesday, we celebrated the Cleveland Music Club Jam Night’s 1st Anniversary at Doc and Louie’s, and what a party it was! Thanks go out to jammers Mike Cottom, Mike Cottom Jr., Chloe Cottom and Kaylee Cottom, John Powell, Greg Kern, Ronny B., Don Lydon, Doc K., Dan Elliott, Carl E. Plechaty, Jim Belanger, Wally Marflak, Blake Kniola, Louis Johnson, Katyana Speckman, Jaime Flores, Dominick Cataldo, Tony Fortunato, Mark Trigalet, Dale Hartmann, Aimee Bellinger, Dave (sax), Dan Hearns, Bob DeVries, Jon Darling, Erin Rossi, Sammy Free, Tony Camerato, Rob Hayes, Tim Hamman, George Hartwig and Steve Smith. Wednesday found me at the Fairview Tavern with fellow Cleveland Music Club members G.S. Harper and Kevin Fancher for our monthly “Stuffed Crust” show. We had a ton of fun. Thanks to everyone who stopped out! ;c)
On Friday Shady Drive appeared at Mapleside Farms’ “Concerts over the Valley” series for the second straight year. The rain held off long enough for us to perform one set, but just barely. Thanks to Charlie, Pat, Chris, Daryl, Billy, Jeni, Jess, Gary, Laura and everyone else who braved the rain to catch our performance.
Thankfully, we dried out in time for Saturday’s show at The Lampliter. It was a great night! Thanks to Marty, Mari, Ron, Sherri, Dave, Lorraine and everyone else who came out to party with us!
Coming up this week, Tuesday’s Cleveland Music Club Jam Night at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm) will feature guest hosts Dwayne Dickman and Tony Camerato and is sponsored by Sonor Drums. Doc’s delicious burgers are $4.95 (w/fries) and margaritas are $3 until 9pm. Bring your axe and come join us! It’s always fun :c)
On Friday, Shady Drive returns to Sassy’s Bar and Grill (10755 Ravenna Rd., Twinsburg, 9pm – 1am). Come join us at this great venue and help us party the night away with the Sassy’s gang!
This Saturday Shady Drive plays a private function in Freeport, Ohio.
