Hi gang!
It’s time to wind up another week and kick off a new one. Last week’s Cleveland Music Club jam night was a bunch of fun with co-hosts Tony Camerato and Dwayne Dickman. Dropping by to get their jam on were the SamSons (Jimmy Miragliotta, Joe Bilardo, Greg Grandillo and Tony Camerato), Katyana Speckman, Rich Spina, Priscilla Aldridge Zietlow, Dan Hearns, the birthday girl Adelle Marie Borchetta, Greg Kern, John Powell, Bill Crowley, Dan Elliott, Marc Alu, Jay Smith, Hayden Frosti, Wally Marflack, Dave Poirier, Bob Laeng, Gene Franz, Charlie Vanek, Luke Pernici, George Hartwig, Kevin Fancher, Jay Smith, Celeste Harsa, Louis Johnson, Rob Hill, Blake Kniola and Joe Zerucha. Also attending were Jimmy D., Jason N., Amanda B. (glad to have you back with us!!), Jim B., Lisa S., JoAnne, Tom, Sammy F., Shelly, John K. (Hope you feel better soon!), Tommy F., Uncle Peanuts, the dancing Marilyns and the rest of Doc’s music loving patrons. Next, it was definitely an event when Shady Drive with Chris Hanna on keys paired up with the North Coast Horns at Harpo’s on Friday night. The dance floor saw a lot of action during the course of the evening and were even treated to a surprise visit by the Soul Men! Look for this to happen again at Harpo’s and at Doc and Louie’s this fall/winter season. Big thanks to Harpo’s for hosting the insanity and to the members of the Brothers Blues Band for stopping by after their appearance at the italian American Festival.
On Saturday, Shady Drive was back in trio configuration for an appearance at Frascati’s in the Valley. It was a gorgeous night out on the patio. Thanks to Patty and Bill, Mary and Bob, Jack and Roseanne and Larry for coming out to party with us!
Coming up this week:
Monday: Shady Drive will host the Lube Jam at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield (4900 Transportation Dr, Sheffield Village, 7:30pm to 11pm). It’s always a fun time so come on out and jam with us!
Tuesday: I’ll be with G.S. Harper and George Hartwig as we host the Cleveland Music Club Jam at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm). Join us for Doc’s 2 for 1 burgers, $3 margaritas, good friends, great music and unlimited fun! Dirty Town Guitar and Amps is our sponsor, so we’ll have some nice prizes to give away. :c)
Friday: Cactus Jack returns! We’re making our debut at 42Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Parkway, Brunswick, 8:30 – 12:30), so dust off yer boots, grab yer hat and get yourself down to 42Eighty and party ‘Jack’s way!
