Hi gang!
We started Tuesday night’s Cleveland Music Club Jam off with musical tributes to the late Glenn Frey and David Bowie, then kicked the fun into high gear! Many thanks to hosts George Hartwig and Gary Stulak, jammers John Hamley, Angelo Ciu, Doug, Bob Laeng, Frank, John Kerver, Skip Werke, Don Lydon, Gregory McGill, Greg Kern, Katie Good, Charlita Anderson, Jerry Kromer and Jmy T., you all rocked. Thank you for bringing your music and your great company to share this week! Thanks also to George, Effie, the Dancing Marilyns and the rest of the ‘Frog Faithful’ who braved the cold just to hang out and enjoy some music. Last, but not least, big thanks to Dirty Town Guitar and Amps and the staff and management of Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe for giving us the opportunity for yet another night of musical mayhem!
Saturday night’s Shady Drive gig at the Fairview Tavern was totally off the hook. We had an amazing crowd and the fun lasted all night long! Props to Cayla, Anne, Tricia, Keith, Carrie, Erika, Chris, Daryl, Kate, Gerald, Rita, Laura, Gary, Holly, Ashley, Carol and the whole Tavern gang for coming out and partying with us, and to Holly and Carol for sitting in for a tune or two. :c)
Coming up this week…
The Cleveland Music Club – CMC Jam happens every Tuesday at Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe (33137 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, 8:30 – 12:30). This week’s our guest hosts are Brian Davidson and Tim Hamman! Our sponsor each and every week is Dirty Town Guitar and Amps (15230 Madison Ave. Lakewood)! Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, SONOR DRUMS and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancin’ shoes and come join the fun!
On Friday Slim N’ Shady returns to Blue Turtle Tavern (29352 Lorain Rd., N. Olmsted) for Friday Happy Hour from 6-9pm! C’mon out and help us rock the house while we play your favorite classic rock and blues tunes! You can even sing along! It’s that kinda party!
This Saturday will find Shady Drive heading back to Aces Bar and Grille (32650 Lorain Rd., North Ridgeville, 10pm) for a night of blues and rock n roll! Shady Drive won’t be the only thing rockin’ the house, because Aces’ food (the pizza is awesome) and service are out of this world. Come join us and see for yourself!!
As always, you can pick up a copy of Shady Drive’s CD, “Darker Shade Of Blue” at all of our live shows, on Amazon, CDBaby or iTunes!
You can hear us often, along with other blues artists on http://www.bluesmusicfan.com
That’s all for this week. We’ll talk soon…
