Hi gang!
Last week’s CMC Jam was a rockin’ good time as always, thanks to hosts ‘Furious’ George Hartwig and Gary ‘G Rock’ Stulak, jam crew: Joe Ferrara, Gene Franz, Bob Laeng, Hayden Frosti, Mike Cottom, Tim Reeves, Lou Eliopoulos, Greg Kern, Efrain Hernandez, Don Lydon and Robert A. DeVries, and our faithful supporters Shelly, Pete, Janette, Bob, Vern, Michael, Greg, Pamela, the “Dancing Marilyns,” and the rest of the ‘Frog Faithful.’
Finally, thank you Dirty Town Guitar and Amps and the staff and management of Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe for making the party possible.
Friday night at The Blue Turtle Tavern, Slim N’ Shady warmed up the crowd for the Cavs victory over the Hawks and a good time was had by all! It was great to see Chris, Daryl, Tricia, Diane, Gordy, Jeff and the rest of the Turtle gang! We’re back there on July 3 for another 6-9pm Happy Hour show. :c)
Saturday’s Shady Drive appearance at Cleats Marblehead was an amazing night! It was great to see Shawn and his whole posse, Andy and Timea, Patrick and the Cleats gang out in full force! Also many thanks to Jen, Cookie, Kendra and all of the staff at Cleats. We had a great time! We’ll be back at Cleats on July 25.
On Sunday, Shady Drive rocked the house at Schaun Acres Campground. It was a fun time as always with all the campers in the pavilion and those cheering at their campsites. There were definitely some tasty BBQs going on!! Great night!
Coming up this week…
The Cleveland Music Club – CMC Jam happens every Tuesday…except THIS Tuesday. Our jam night has been CANCELED because Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe feels there will be more demand for the Cavs game than for jam night. While this is completely beyond my control, my apologies to all of the faithful folks who spend their Tuesday nights with us. Hope to see you all next Tuesday!
This Saturday night, Shady Drive returns to John O’s @ Clay’s Park (13190 Patterson St NW, North Lawrence, Ohio, 8pm)! We’ll be rockin’ the house with special guest Bill March on bass. Don’t miss all the fun! C’mon out and join us!
