Hi gang!
We had loads of fun at Tuesday’s CMC Jam at Bullfrog’s with hosts G.S. Harper and Kevin “Hollywood” Fancher! Thanks to all of the night’s participants and supporters, including Gerald Hurd, John Kerver, Dave Deitke, Doug Bowen, David Koler, Mike Cottom, John Powell, Greg Kern, Mitch Piazza, Tom King, Mike Cottom, Kristi Paddock, Dan Hearns, “Honeycreek” (Keith, Bobby, Chip), Pamela, Gregory, Joe, Michelle, Jason, Trish, Vern, The Dancing Marilyns and the rest of the ‘Frog Faithful.’ Great music and fun! Thanks also to Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe and staff for having us each week and to Dirty Town Guitar and Amps for their continued sponsorship.
On Friday night, Shady Drive appeared at Bullfrog’s with the amazing Mr. Chris Hanna on keys. It was great to see Pat, Charlie, Beth, John, Kim, Keith, Effie, Don, Jess, Joy, Bob and Coletta out to rock the house with us!
Shady Drive’s monthly Fairview Tavern appearance on Saturday was a great time. Thanks to Jen, Jeremy, Katy, Blake, Gerald, Tricia, Corrine, Carl, Jacque and Lee for stopping by to party with us! We had fun and hope you did too!
Coming up this week…
The Cleveland Music Club – CMC Jam happens every Tuesday at Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe (33137 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, 8:30 – 12:30) This week’s guest hosts are Rob “Shady” Hayes and Tim Hamman. Our sponsor each week is Dirty Town Guitar and Amps. Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, Sonor drums, Alesis QS6 keyboard and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancin’ shoes and come join the fun!
On Friday Shady Drive will head to The Upper Deck (375 W. Bagley Rd., Berea, 9pm – 1am) for our monthly appearance there. Great food, great service and a very comfy room with plenty of parking are the order of the day at Upper Deck. C’mon out and party with us this Friday night!
This Saturday, Shady Drive breaks out the “Unplugged” version once again at the Blue Turtle Tavern (29352 Lorain Rd., N. Olmsted, 9pm – 1am) We’ve been playing certain private events as an acoustic trio for some time now and the Turtle is the perfect venue to present this in a public show. The food is delicious, the drinks are frosty, Shady Drive Unplugged is providing the musical canvas for a fun evening! Come join us!
Shady Drive is in the running for “Best Local Band” in this year’s Cleveland Hot List. We’d sure appreciate YOUR vote, too! To vote, click the link below and follow the link or scan the QR Code on the page. It’s that easy!
That’s all for this week! We’ll talk soon…
