Thank you all so much! Get well soon Sherri… thank you Doc and Jordon for keeping us fed and watered all night. Thank you Dirty Town Guitar and Amps for sponsoring us each week.
On to Saturday night with Shady Drive, the North Coast Horns and the Soul Men at Black River Landing. Simply an amazing evening! The weather was perfect, the sound crew (thank you Tim and Alex!) rocked and most of all, the crowd was just electric! Many thanks to everyone who came out, including Cathy, Chris, Daryl, Debbie, Katy, Stephanie, Jessica, Joy, Shawn, John, Jackie, Ben, John, Wade, Priscilla and Dennis! Shady Drive and the North Coast Horns would like to offer a special thank you to Paula, Jen and Dawn at the Jackalope. These ladies took excellent care of us and got us seated, fed, and off to our show in plenty of time, even though there were 9 in our party and the restaurant was very crowded. Thanks ladies! :c)
Coming up this week…
Tuesday’s CMC Jam Night at Doc and Louie’s will feature guest hosts Brian Davidson (welcome back!) and Tony Camerato! We’re sponsored each week by Dirty Town Guitar and Amps. As always, Doc’s amazing burgers are $4.95 (w/fries) all night and margaritas are $3 until 9pm. There’s plenty of parking in Doc’s front and back lots, O’Reilly’s back lot and their front lot after they close at 9pm. Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, Sonor drums, Alesis QS6 keyboard and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancing shoes and come join the fun!
On Friday, I’ll be filling in with Pieces of Eight featuring the Lakeside Brass at St. Rocco’s Church Festival (3205 Fulton Rd., Cleveland, 7:30pm – 11:30pm). I’m thrilled to be playing with these guys and it should be a blast, so c’mon out!
Saturday night will find me with Erin Rossi, Tony Koussa Jr., Chad May and Kevin Fancher as Cleveland Music Club rocks it out at 42Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy, Brunswick, 9:30pm – 1:30pm). Bring your dancin’ shoes, because we’re planning a night of Motown, R&B, classic rock and other favorites that’ll make it impossible to stay in your seat! The food and service are awesome at 42Eighty, so come join us!
That’s all for this week! We’ll talk soon…
Mike :c)
