Hi gang!

Wow, what a week! It began last Monday at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield as Cleveland Music Club hosted the Lube Jam. Joining me were Rob Hayes, Mike Wypasek and Tim Hamman. Tuesday marked the last Cleveland Music Club Jam at Bullfrog’s before moving to Doc and Louie’s this coming Tuesday night. Dwayne Dickman and Sammy Free co-hosted with me as we jammed the night away. On Friday, Shady Drive appeared before a packed house at Cebar’s in Euclid, playing until almost 2am. Shady Drive was originally scheduled to play at another club on Saturday, but were canceled due to the club’s booking error. Upon learning that we were without a gig that night, Robert Valore, owner of the Fairview Tavern, graciously invited us to play the Tavern for the second week in a row. What a guy! Thank you Robert! :c)

Coming up this week, the Cleveland Music Club Jam Night makes its debut at the fabulous Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd. North Olmsted) on Tuesday at 7pm. Dwayne Dickman and Tim Hamman join me onstage to co-host from 7 to 8pm, then we’ll turn the stage over to YOU! Bring your picks, sticks, axe, sax, tuba, French horn, fiddle, juice harp, glockenspiel or even your kazoo and come jam with us! In addition to the great music, Doc’s features 2 for 1 Doc Burgers all night and awesome $3 margaritas until 9pm! This is our first jam night at Doc’s, so come on out and show some love!

On Friday, Shady Drive returns to the legendary Lampliter Lounge (6339 Olde York Rd.) at 9pm. The Lamp is a great place for a party and we always love playing for their regular crowd. Make plans to join us and be a part of the fun!

Shady Drive plays a private gig on Saturday, so that’s all for this week! We’ll talk soon…
Mike :c)
