Last Tuesday at Doc’s was a blast with guest hosts Drew Doman and Uncle Steve Smith, jammers Vic on guitar, Hayden Frosti, Wally Marflak, Bob Laeng, John Kerver, Dave Ziggy Deitke, Joey Samide, Tim Hamman, Dale Bally, Jaime Flores, Ronny B., John Powell, Greg Kern, Don Lydon, Dan Elliott, and Greg McGill. Thank you to Sheri, Alyssa, Effie, Vern, Joe D., Joe S., Lynette, Heidi, the Dancing Marilyns, and the rest of Doc’s music loving patrons for all of the dancing, applause and great conversation. Finally, thanks to Doc and Sherri for keeping everyone fed and watered!
Wednesday’s CMC gig at the Fairview Tavern was loads of fun as always! Thanks to G. S. Harper and Kevin Fancher for turning in a great performance. :c)
Friday’s Shady Drive show at 42Eighty was definitely a party! Emily and Ann rocked it behind the bar and the 42Eighty crowd was out in full force! Great night!
Saturday was even better as Shady Drive returned to the Fairview Tavern. Many thanks to Blake Kniola for an excellent performance on bass and to Jen, Mary, Bob, Sandy, Ken, Heather and Nancy for stopping out to party with us!

On Tuesday, the CMC Jam at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., N. Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm) features guest hosts ‘Furious’ George Hartwig and Gary ‘GRock’ Stulak. Our sponsor each week is Dirty Town Guitar and Amps. As always, Doc’s amazing burgers are $4.95 (w/fries) all night and margaritas are $3 until 9pm. There’s plenty of parking in Doc’s front and back lots, O’Reilly’s back lot and their front lot after they close at 9pm. Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, Sonor drums, Alesis QS6 keyboard and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancing shoes and come join the fun!
Shady Drive is off on Friday and I’m headed down to the House of Blues to catch Wish You Were Here. This is always a hell of a show. There still may be a ticket or two left, so don’t hesitate!
On Saturday,. Shady Drive plays a private event.
