Hi gang!

Another week in the books and it looks like spring is finally just around the corner. Last Sunday’s CMC Jam crowd was pretty light, but those that were there had a blast! Thanks to Ed ‘Buzzy’ Sarley and Tony Camerato for guest hosting and to John Powell, Greg Kern, George Sipl, John Hamley, Joe Zelinski, TJ Plechaty and Patricia Reiter for coming out to jam with us! Thanks also to Chase Ockuly and Blake Kniola for stopping out!

Tuesday’s CMC Musicians’ Jam Night at Doc and Louie’s was another remarkable evening, with John Powell, Marc Alu, Don Lydon, Greg Kern, Jay Smith, Hayden Frosti, John Kerver, Luke Pernici, Wally Marflak, Joe, Ronny B., Blake Kniola, Louis Johnson, Mal Mapes, Dawnie B, JMY T., the band Rebel Grindstone (Andrew, Dave and Jeff) the band Galaxy Deluxe (Al, Johnny, Jon, Phil and Sonny) the band Southern Solstice (Ricky, Brandon and Alan) and the band Broken English (Chase, Dolinar, Adam and Randy) all providing the music for the evening, Lisa, Katyana, Ron, Amanda, Jason, Jimmy, Lenna, Vern, Derek, Sheri, Jim, Dan, Ira, Greg, the dancing Marilyns and the rest of Doc’s music loving patrons providing the cheers and applause and Dirty Town Guitar and Amps providing the prizes. Thanks to all for a great night!

Friday’s Shady Drive’s show at Sassy’s Bar and Grill was a bit short on attendance but not on fun. Thanks to Joe and Lisa and Mark Sr. and Jr. and all of the friends and family they brought out! We had fun and hope you did too!

At Shady Drive’s Fairview Tavern show on Saturday it was great to see Chris, Daryl, Eroc, Blake, Gary, Laura, Merle and all the Tavern crowd out in full force. The house was packed and it rocked all night long. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it a great night!

Coming up this week…

Tonight’s CMC Sunday Jam at 42 Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy., Brunswick, 7pm – 11pm) features guest hosts Rob ‘Shady’ Hayes and Bill March, Emily behind the bar, Vern manning the kitchen and sponsor Bruno Brothers Music. The food is awesome (40 cent wings and the most awesome homemade kettle chips w/ dip!), the beer is cold ($4 pitchers of domestic beer and happy hour prices until 9pm!) and full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, Sonor drums, Alesis QS 6 keyboard and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe or sticks and come jam with us!

On Tuesday the CMC Musicians’ Jam Night at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm) features guest hosts Drew Doman and Uncle Steve Smith. As always, Doc’s amazing burgers are $4.95 (w/fries) all night and margaritas are $3 until 9pm. There’s plenty of parking in Doc’s front and back lots, O’Reilly’s back lot and their front lot after they close at 9pm. Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, Sonor drums, Alesis QS6 keyboard and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancing shoes and come join the fun!

Wednesday night will find G.S. Harper, Kevin Fancher and me at the Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 8pm-11pm) for our monthly Cleveland Music Club gig. The food is great, the drinks are delicious and the staff is super fast and friendly. Come out and have dinner and some drinks while we play your favorite rock, blues and country tunes!

This Saturday, Shady Drive heads back to 42 Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy., Brunswick, 9:30pm – 1:30am) to party the night away with the 42 Eighty gang…and YOU! Come early to get a good seat and enjoy dinner and some drinks while Shady Drive rocks Brunswick’s hottest night spot!

There will be no CMC Sunday Jam on St. Patrick’s Day, but Cleveland Music Club will be rockin’ and rollin’ at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 4pm – 8pm). G.S. Harper, Kevin Fancher and I will be wearin’ the green and playing all your favorites! C’mon out and party with us!
