Hey gang!

It’s been yet another fun-filled week! We kicked it off with the Cleveland Music Club Jam Night at Doc and Louie’s. Thanks to Mike Cottom, Carol Dieball, Greg Kern, John Powell, “Cuda, Renko, Cuda” (Chris Cuda, Steve Renko, Tony Cuda) Dominic Cataldo, Jaime Flores, Brent Lane, Jay Smith, Blake Kniola, Rob Hill, Scott Emerson, Katyana Speckman, Thomas Boone, Louis Johnson, Alex Strekal, Bob Laeng, Luke Pernici, Hayden Frosti, John Kerver and Wally Marflak, Kevin Palm and Dave Poirier for stopping by to jam with us! Congrats to prize winners Steve Renko, Bob Laeng and Jaime Flores. Thanks also to Ron, Steve, Diane, Lisa, Amanda, Jason, The Dancing Marilyns and all of Doc’s music-loving patrons for hanging out with us, Drew Doman and Uncle Steve for co-hosting, Dana Clarke and Guitar Center of North Olmsted for sponsoring, Tracy for keeping us fed and watered with a smile and Doc for providing great place for all of this wonderfulness to happen!

On to Friday, when Shady Drive returned to 42Eighty Food and Drink. Thanks to Jen, Leslie and all of the 42 gang that attended. We had a great time! We were up early the next morning and on our way to Marietta for a private event. “Roostfest” was quite the party! Thanks to Gary, Laura and Dave for having us and for your hospitality!

Coming up this week, Tuesday brings another episode of the Cleveland Music Club Jam Night at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm). Co-hosting with me this week are the one and only G.S. Harper (G.S. Harper Band, Cactus Jack) and Erol Sommer (Images, Bluescasters). Sonor Drums is our sponsor for the evening. Doc’s delicious 1/2 pound burgers (w/fries) are only $4.95 all night. Margaritas are $3 until 9pm. There’s plenty of parking at Doc’s in both the front and rear lots and O’Reilly’s Auto Parts’ rear lot (and their front lot after they close). There’s also never any shortage of good music, good friends, good food and good times at Doc’s on Tuesday nights! Come join us. :c)

Next, on Wednesday, Shady Drive returns to Zeppe’s Tavern & Pizzeria (11110 Kinsman Rd., Newbury, 7pm – 10pm) for their weekly Bike Night. This is our second time at Zeppe’s and if it’s half as much fun as the first, it’ll be off the hook! Their pizza and burgers are delicious, so come join us!

On Thursday at 8pm, tune in to AHealthyCleveland.com. I’ll be host Dana Clarke’s guest for the evening and Cleveland Music Club will perform some acoustic tunes. Should be fun! :c)

Then on Friday, Shady Drive heads back to the Parma Tavern (5680 Broadview Rd., Parma, 10pm – 2am) to rock the house! It’s been a while since we’ve appeared there, so we’re excited to see our old friends and make some new ones. The food is great and the beer is cold, so come on out and kick off your weekend with Shady Drive!

On Saturday, Shady Drive plays a private event.

That’s all for this week! We’ll talk soon…
Mike ;c)
