Hey gang!

I’ve been so busy this past week that I completely forgot about writing! Maybe it’s old age, but I thought being busy sounded a lot better, so I’m sticking with that. :c)

Great gigs last week at Irish Kevin’s on Friday and Fairview Tavern on Saturday! Thanks to Chris, Wally, Marty, Mari, Sharon, Tim, Diane, Denny and Al for coming out! On Sunday Shady Drive attended at Alan Greene’s Cebar’s jam night. Monday night found me with Rob Hayes, Tim Hamman and Mike Wypasek as Cleveland Music Club hosted the Lube Jam at the Sheffield Quaker Steak and Lube. On Tuesday I was joined by Dwayne Dickman and Sammy Free at Cleveland Music Club’s Tuesday jam night at Bullfrog’s. Wow…what a week!

Coming up, tonight Shady Drive appears at Cebar’s Euclid Tavern (585 E. 185th St.) at 9. Cebar’s is a great blues venue so come check us out! On Saturday, Shady Drive returns to the fabulous Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park) for Fairview Tavern Appreciation Night! Come out and join the fun as we say thanks to one of Cleveland’s COOLEST club owners!!

Don’t forget, the Cleveland Music Club Tuesday night jam has a new home at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted)! We’re very excited about our move to Doc’s. The jam now begins at 7pm and runs until 11pm. Co-hosting with me this coming Tuesday are Dwayne Dickman and Tim Hamman, so come out and dine on the famous Doc burger while Dwayne, Tim and I crank out some of your favorite tunes and then strap on your axe and show us what you can do!
