Hi gang,

Normally I just grab the names from Erika’s jam night wrap up, but this week I’m poaching her entire wrap up since it just ROCKS, plus it’s the end of the year! So, here’s Erika!

“This week’s Cleveland Music Club – CMC Jam was the finale for 2014. It’s been an exciting year of music and fun. We’ve made some new friends and have had to say some goodbyes. When we return next week it will mark a full year since we made the move back to Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe from Doc’s. We thank Russel and the BF staff for giving us a “home.”

Things got off to a crazy start with what seemed like an endless stream of weather calamities including the big flood. I was beginning to think mother nature was not a music fan. But we made it through.

There would be no CMC Jam without all of our awesome weekly guest hosts. Big thanks to all of them. We lost one of our “teams” this year. First, Kevin Fancher moved off to Manhattan. Then Mr. Job Security, the unfireable GS Harper moved off to one of them there rectangular states out west. ;-p We gained a new team anchored by Becky Boyd. We also saw the return of Drew Doman and Tony Camerato and CMC’s answer to the Maytag Repairman, Jon Darling, stepped in behind the drums after Mike’s accident. John Kerver, the “Tuesday Night Jam Night Irregulars” official treasurer (…I don’t think that’s really a thing…) joined the hosting ranks and Bob Laeng, the “Tuesday Night Jam Night Irregulars” minister of hats (I think that might actually be a thing) answered an emergency call to hold down the bass host chair… because he’s groovy like that. Paul Lewis, Mike Dixon, Ben Nieves, Adam Constantine, Eric Sosinski and Jack Hrusch all hosted. Our regular hosts: Brian Davidson, Bill March, George F Hartwig, Gary G Rock Stulak, Tim Hamman, Rob Hayes and Michael Bay all gave us a great year. Those are some of the coolest and most talented people in NE Ohio. We are very lucky to have them.

We are also lucky to have met and enjoyed the performances of all of this years jammers, including: Alyssa Chace, Aimee Bellinger, Amanda Baher, AJ Hamley, Andrew, Bob Laeng, Robert A. DeVries, Brian Davidson, Brett, Bob Woodward, Bill Bishop, Chuck, Chloe Cottom, Clay Craigo, Chris, “Chaos Lounge,”, Clayton Higgins, Chris Remold, Capt. Finally a big thanks to this year’s sponsors: Dirty Town Guitar and Amps, Guitar Center N. Olmsted and John Kerver. These are the folks who provide us with swag to give away, but much more than that… go above and beyond to support our jam, other jams and the greater Cleveland music scene in general.

I’ve missed a bunch of people, I’m sure, and most likely miss-spelled a bunch of names… I’m sorry. If you were with us this year, we truly appreciate it!

Have a happy and safe New Year… cya in 2015!”

Thanks Erika! :c)
