Hi gang!
Things have started popping for Shady Drive in the past few weeks! We’ve some great gigs coming up at Brothers Lounge , The Cleveland Blues Society Jam, The Canton Blues Fest in June and Crocker Park in July and August!
First up, Shady Drive returns to The Stop On Inn this Friday, April 30 at 9:30pm. Always a rockin’ crowd and lots of fun at The Stop! Then we’re off to Doc and Louie’s on Saturday May 1 at 9:00pm to spend the evening partying with Doc, his staff and the D&L crowd!
On Monday, May 10, Shady Drive and Doc and Louie’s host the monthly Cleveland Blues Society Jam Night! Things get started at 7:30pm as we take the stage for a 1-hour set, then open the stage to our fellow musicians for a great blues jam! Amps, PA and Sonor drums are provided by Shady Drive. Guitarists or bassists, just bring your axe. Drummers, bring your sticks. If you’re not a musician, just bring your ears, your party attitude and get ready to hear some of Cleveland’s greatest blues musicians doin’ their thang!
On Saturday, May 22, we’re back at The Blue Snapper once again. The fun starts at 9:00pm on The Snapper’s awesome patio! Come out and help us kick off the summer in great fashion while we rock the night away at one of the Cleveland area’s best outdoor venues! After the Snapper show, get some rest because you’re going to need it!
We start the Memorial Day weekend off on Thursday night with Shady Drive’s debut performance at the legendary Brothers Lounge! Mark May 27 on your calendars and bring all of your friends to this one! Brothers is an extraordinary venue with great food and drinks, friendly staff and a great house sound and light system! We take the stage at 9pm, so don’t be late!
On Friday May 28, the holiday weekend continues as we travel back to The Stop On Inn! The fun starts at 9:30pm! After a rare Saturday night off, we make our annual Memorial Day weekend appearance at Schaun Acres Campground in Oberlin. This gig is always a blast and things get rolling at 8pm!
Don’t forget to make plans to attend the Canton Blues Fest on June 18! Admission is free!
