Hi gang!

Last Tuesday’s CMC Jam was another awesome night with hosts Rob Hayes and Tim Hamman, our awesome jam crew Bob Laeng, John Kerver, Devin Hogan, Jim Belanger, Hichem Ferrah, Dan Elliott, Greg McGill, Bob DeVries and Pam Coone. Thank you all for filling the night with music for us! Thanks also to everyone who came out listen, dance and get a little silly including: Joe, Michelle, David, Todd, Vern, Lisa, Pamela, the ‘Dancing Marilyns’ and the rest of the ‘Frog Faithful.’ It’s always fun hanging with you fine people. Big thanks as always to our sponsor Dirty Town Guitar and Amps and to the staff and management of Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe, without whom we’d have to try to jam via FaceTime or something equally ridiculous.

Thursday’s gig with Pieces Of Eight featuring the Lakeside Brass and The Soul Men was a great time! Always fun gigging with them. :c)

Shady Drive played a private event on Saturday. Thanks to Chris Hanna and Ray Varga for turning in awesome performances!

Coming up this week…

The Cleveland Music Club – CMC Jam happens every Tuesday at Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe (33137 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, 8:30 – 12:30) Our guest hosts this week are Becky Boyd, Mike Dixon and Tim Hamman! Our sponsor each and every week is Dirty Town Guitar and Amps (15230 Madison Ave. Lakewood)! Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, SONOR DRUMS and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancin’ shoes and come join the fun!

This Wednesday night, Shady Drive will play The Grille (1813 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, 6-9pm) as they host the Century Harley-Davidson Bike Night. The Grille features an amazing patio, with food to match (their gyros are THE BEST!) and lots of frosty cold beverages! This is our debut appearance there and Justin Butcher will join us on bass, so come join us and let’s rock the house!

On Thursday, Shady Drive will debut at Panini’s – Solon (6150 SOM Center Rd., 7-10pm). Great food, great drinks and a fun atmosphere are features of this awesome nightspot. Bill March will join us on bass, so c’mon out and let’s PARTY! :c)

This Saturday night, Shady Drive returns to the Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 9:30pm – 1:30am). The food at the Tavern is amazing (try the $10 strip steak special), the drinks are cold and the service is fast and friendly. Add an evening of blues and classic rock by Shady Drive and you’ve got a GREAT Saturday night! Let’s rock!

That’s it for this week! We’ll talk soon…

Mike :c)
