Another great week started off with the CMC Jam at Bullfrog’s. Thank you ‘Furious’ George Hartwig and Gary ‘G Rock’ Stulak for presiding over the night’s fun. Thanks also to all of the jammers and hanger-outters, including: Bob Laeng, Joe on guitar, Joey Samide, Mike Cottom, Dan Elliott, Don Lydon, Greg Kern, Gregory McGill, Lou on Drums, Harmonica Stan, Manda, Jason, Joe S., Dan, the Dancing Marilyns and the rest of the ‘Frog Faithful.’ You all rock! On to Saturday night and Shady Drive’s debut at Backroads Tavern. Not a large crowd but very enthusiastic! Thanks to Kiki, Michelle and Jen for coming out, to Dan and Lorre for having us and to the Backroads gang that came out to see us. We’re back there on June 27!

Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, SONOR DRUMS and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancin’ shoes and come join the fun!
This Saturday night, Shady Drive, Chris Hanna and the North Coast Horns join forces to celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of 42 Eighty Concert Club (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy., Brunswick, 8:30 – 12:30) Dancing, food and drink specials and great music all night long! There’s a $5 cover at the door, but the club will fill up fast, so come early and grab a seat!! Be there!!!
On Sunday, I’ll be attending the “We’ve Got Your Back” benefit for Mike Horvath at Aces Grille Middleburg Heights (6849 Pearl Rd., Middleburg Hts.). Mike is one of the area’s leading sound techs who’s been laid up with injuries suffered this past winter while sledding with his kids. The benefit will help with medical expenses and lost wages. C’mon out and have some fun and do a good deed at the same time! The fun starts at 2pm!
