Hi gang!
Last week’s CMC Jam was pretty light on jammers, but not on fun! Thanks to hosts Becky Boyd, Mike Dixon and Tim Hamman; our jam crew John Kerver, Bob Laeng, Gene Frantz, Mike Cottom, Dan Elliott, Don Lydon, Robert A. DeVries, Jeff and Phil O. We had an awesome gig in Defiance on Saturday!! Many, many thanks to Megan Clay Constantine for an amazing performance on bass, Matt Riddle who absolutely ROCKED it all night on keys, even though he was under the weather and Ethan Shields who nailed it on sax! Three folks who had never gigged with us before, didn’t feel well and STILL made it seamless! That’s professionalism at its finest, gang. Thanks also to John Powell for a great mix and to Blues Brothers Tribute – The Soul Men for another fun night. Last but definitely not least, thank you Rob Hayes, my bandmate for the last 10 years, for putting your heart and soul into every single gig, doing whatever it takes to get it done, and ALWAYS tearin’ it up! Looking forward to 10 more! :c)
