Hi gang!

Thanks to this week’s CMC Jam guest hosts, Brian Davidson and Bill March and to jam participants, Gerald Hurd, Bob Laeng, John Kerver, John Nestor, Greg Kern, Greg McGill, Don Lydon, Dale Hartmann, Chris Boross, Eric Edwards and Stacy. You all sounded great! Thanks to everyone else who came out to listen and hang out including: Vern, Gary, Pamela, Effie, Susie, Tricia, the dancing Marilyns and the rest of the ‘Frog Faithful.”

Thursday night’s Cactus Jack show at the Savannah was a big hit! The dance floor saw its share of boot scootin’ and a great time was had by all! Thanks to all of the Savannah gang and Mr. Kerver for coming out. :c)

On Saturday Shady Drive, Chris Hanna and the fabulous North Coast Horns totally lit up the Savannah Bar and Grille! Not a seat was empty and the dance floor got one heck of a workout despite the nasty weather. It was great to see Dave, John, Elaine, Deb, Ray, Joy, Bob, Sandy, Ken, Tricia, Gerald and the Savannah gang braving the elements to come out and party with us! Big thanks to Jim DePaul for having us, to Guy for a great job on the sound board and to Chris, Sue, Bobby and Jess for keeping everyone fed and watered!

Coming up this week…

The Cleveland Music Club – CMC Jam happens every Tuesday at Bullfrog’s Sports Cafe (33137 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, 8:30 – 12:30) This week’s guest hosts are G.S. Harper and Adam Constantine. Our sponsor each week is Dirty Town Guitar and Amps. Full backline (two guitar amps, bass amp, Sonor drums and PA) is provided, so bring your favorite axe, sticks or just your party attitude and dancin’ shoes and come join the fun!

Jammers, please note that the Alesis QS6 keyboard is no longer available as it developed some issues and has been “retired”. However, keyboard players are still most welcome to come jam. You’ll just need to bring a board.

This Thursday night, Cleveland Music Club debuts at the Horseshoe Casino’s Vintage 51 as G.S. Harper, Kevin Fancher and I play all of your favorite tunes from 7pm – 10pm. Come on downtown and join us!

This Saturday night Shady Drive heads out to Brunswick for our monthly appearance at 42 Eighty Food and Drink (4280 Shenandoah Pkwy, Brunswick, 9:30pm – 1:30am) for a rockin’ and rollin’ good time with the 42 Eighty gang…and YOU! Great food, awesome service, frosty cold beverages and 4 hours of your favorite classic rock and blues tunes by Shady Drive is the perfect way to kick off April and chase away the winter blahs! Don’t miss it! :c)

That’s it for this week! We’ll talk soon…

Mike :c)
