Hi gang!
I hope this finds everyone safe and sound from the effects of Hurricane Sandy. We had to cancel last week’s Cleveland Music Club Jam Night due to the weather. We had no power (as did a lot of folks) and were dealing with rising water in our basement. Thanks for your understanding! :c)
We were able to get things back to some semblance of order by Friday night as Cactus Jack hit the 42Eighty stage for a return appearance. It was a mini family reunion when my cousins Mary, Dee and Vi strolled in with Louie, Paul and Arthur. It was great to see Charlie and Pat, Gene and Shelly, Joel and Nicole, Jen, Gary and Laura and John! We had a blast and hope you did too!
Coming up this week, this Tuesday’s Cleveland Music Club Jam at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 7pm – 11pm) will feature guest hosts G.S. Harper and Kevin Fancher, Doc’s 1/2 pound burgers (w/fries) for $4.95 and $3 margaritas until 9pm. Dirty Town Guitar and Amps is this week’s sponsor! There’s plenty of parking, good food and cold drinks and there’s never a shortage of fun, either! Come jam with us! We’ll also be collecting water (bottled or jugs), non-perishable foods (canned soup, peanut butter, etc..), hygiene products, feminine products, pet food, diapers, baby formula, or anything else you can think of that displaced people would need, for Diane Mueller and Stephanie Foley who are making a mission trip to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy in Atlantic City. Bring something to donate if you can. :c)
On Friday, Cactus Jack makes their debut performance at Wild Billy’s Bar and Grill (6600 Biddulph Rd., Brooklyn, 9pm – 1am) so grab your hat, pull on your boots and get on down to Wild Billy’s and let’s do some boot scootin’! :c)
Then on Saturday, Shady Drive makes their monthly appearance at the fabulous Fairview Tavern (21867 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park, 9:30pm – 1:30am). The food is amazing, the service is fast and friendly, the beer is cold and the blues are hot! Come join us and let’s PARTY!
