Hi gang!
Shady Drive was off this past week, but Cleveland Music Club kept right on rockin’! A great night at Doc and Louie’s with co-hosts Drew Doman and “Uncle Steve” Smith, sponsor Dirty Town Guitar and Amps, jammers The Cottom Katz (Chloe, Kaylee, Mike Sr. and Mike Jr.), Luther Trammell, Rob Hill, Marc Alu, Drew Oxley, Charlie Simms, Dan Elliott, Jay Smith, Leah, Kevin Fancher, Luke Pernici, Bob Laeng, John Powell, Rick Hong, Dave Koler and Dylan Free and our wonderful audience including “Uncle” Peanuts, Dennis B., Toni G., Gene F., Shelly F., Cheryl R., Rich S., Cindy F., Jimmy D., Jason, Pam, Scott, Jim and Cathy. Thanks to Kristen for her hard work and to Doc for giving us a place to make all of this happen every week!
Next, Cleveland Music Club was off to the Peppermill in Brecksville for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration. G.S. Harper, Kevin Fancher and I hit the stage at 8pm in front of a packed house and rocked it until midnight. A great time was had by all! Look for Cleveland Music Club to return to the Peppermill soon! :c)
Coming up this week, Cleveland Music Club’s Musicians’ Jam Night happens at Doc and Louie’s (24280 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, 7pm-11pm) on Tuesday March 20 with co-hosts Dwayne Dickman and Kevin Fancher. As always, burgers are 2 for 1, margaritas are $3 and they’re all served up by the Amazing Kristen! Grab your axe and get on down to Doc and Louie’s this Tuesday for a great night of fun, friends, food and music that won’t bust your budget!
On Saturday March 24, Shady Drive will cruise into Durty Nellie’s (1151 W. Pleasant Valley Rd., Parma, 9pm-1am) for our debut performance there. We hit the stage to rock at 9pm, so come early to get a good seat and help Rob, Kevin and me rock the house!
That’s all for this week! We’ll talk soon…
Mike :c)
